Surviving the Seasons: A Day of Ceremony and Solidarity

Panel Conversation, All Ages
Earthlodge Center for Transformation

Seasonal Ceremonies at the Earthlodge Center offer powerful tools for healing and transformation. They create a space for the release of intergenerational trauma, allowing for a fresh start and the activation of imagination. Our Fall Seasonal Ceremony, Surviving the Seasons (Both Fall and Electoral): A Day of Ceremony and Solidarity, is designed to create a space for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2-S+ community members to set personal intentions for the fall harvest and to process the stress of the upcoming 2024 Election Season.

As a regular part of our programming, Seasonal Ceremony is held 4 times a year at the Earthlodge making it our most well attended program that the community eagerly awaits and expects every Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Our seasonal ceremonies help individuals reclaim their purpose and restore overall wellness across mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects. The spirit medicine used in ceremony works across past, present, and future, creating a pathway for us to collectively shift consciousness towards a more harmonious connection with the Earth and with each other. Participation is an invitation to be heard, fostering self-empowerment and a sense of groundedness that folks take with them throughout their daily lives.

A unique extension of our Fall Surviving the Seasons ceremony, in celebration of LOVE and (R)EVOLUTION and in preparation for the 2024 Election season will be a speaker panel that will include culture bearers, organizers, community leaders and city officials within our network, to spark critical conversations about self care specifically in the Queer and BIPOC community. The speakers on our panel this year will focus on the seasonal change and the social climate leading up to November, creating an important  and unique opportunity to fortify our communities physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

“Surviving the Seasons: A Day of Ceremony and Solidarity” will take place at the Earthlodge Center on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The panel conversation will be held from 12-1 p.m. and the ceremony will be held from 3-6 p.m. Please register to receive specific location details.

This program is suitable for all ages.
