Just Announced: Circa: Queer Histories Festival
Headlining Exhibition and Opening Plenary

One Institute is thrilled to bring back Circa, the nation’s first-ever LGBTQ+ History Month festival, featuring over 60 programs from queer artists, writers, filmmakers, activists, and community organizations. In our second year, we are excited to offer even more opportunities to celebrate our history, including two events to open the first week of the festival.

Our headlining exhibition, Our Patch: LGBTQ+ Life from Cradle to Grave, will feature never-before-seen materials from ONE Archives at USC Libraries. Following the exhibition, “Our Queerest Century: A Conversation with the Los Angeles Timeswill explore the last 100 years of queer history featured in The Times’ recently published groundbreaking retrospective.

Tickets for both the exhibition and opening plenary will be available in September. View the full press release for more information on opening week programs and sign up below to receive all the latest updates on Circa.
